Pelican said the service centers, which are situated in important logistics locations for pharmaceutical manufacturing and transfer, support existing customers and rapidly expanding rental programs.

The facilities will allow the worldwide clients of Pelican BioThermal to receive and return the reusable Credo line of temperature controlled packaging.

According to the company, the location complements the current and expanding network of service centers, network stations and rental drop-off points throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas.

The service centers will provide cleaning, refurbishment, repair and conditioning of Crēdo Cube temperature-controlled shippers.

The facilities add to Pelican BioThermal’s infrastructure of service centers, network stations and drop points, planned to cross 100 sites by early next year.

Pelican BioThermal vice president of sales Kevin Lawler said: “These additional facilities in Europe will support Pelican BioThermal’s industry-leading Crēdo line of reusable temperature controlled shippers.

“These service centres will also support our rental programs, such as Crēdo on Reserve and our Crēdo on Demand with locally available trained staff, available inventory of shippers and replacement parts.”

The company said that to serve the requirements of its global clients, it will continue to invest in crucial locations worldwide.

Pelican BioThermal is a division of Pelican Products, a designer and manufacturer of high-performance protective cases, temperature-controlled packaging solutions. Pelican Products is a portfolio company of Behrman Capital, a private equity investment firm based in New York and San Francisco.
