Pelican BioThermal, a provider of temperature-controlled packaging solutions, has introduced new CoolPall Flex bulk shipper system.

The customizable CoolPall Flex bulk shipper system has been developed to provide high-performance thermal protection for the global transportation of pharmaceutical and life sciences payloads.
CoolPall Flex, which is an enhanced extension of advanced technologies, benefits from firm’s Crēdo, Chronos and CoolPall lines.
The shipper system is said to offer better payload efficiency on aircraft with more constrained cargo spaces.

“Flex’s common components make the system user-friendly and simple to construct. This means it’s incredibly quick and easy to build and can be fully assembled in under two minutes.”
CoolPall Flex is available in three heights and with a capacity range between 140L and 767L. It provides different insulation options with water-based or phase change material (PCM) coolants in single or double coolant configurations.
The system’s flexible configurations deliver duration and performance capabilities, in excess of 144 hours, to palliate temperature excursions in the worldwide transportation of pharmaceutical products.
CoolPall Flex is made with common components used in all variants, enabling users to learn how to assemble, condition and pack.
The shipper system is available in a range of variants, including CoolPall Flex Water, CoolPall Flex PCM and CoolPall Flex Advance.
