KushCo Holdings, the parent company of cannabis industry leaders such as Kush Supply Co, Kush Energy, The Hybrid Creative, and Koleto Packaging Solutions, announced that it is changing the name of its Kush Bottles division to Kush Supply Co, effective 1 October 2018.

The updated name better reflects the platform’s lateral transition to a more diversified business model, where the Company now supplies growers, extractors, infused product-makers, brands, and large multi-state operators with a range of products and services that meet and exceed the critical needs in their supply chains.
In addition, with these clients experiencing hyper growth due to rapidly increased consumer demand, there is now more of a need for a one-stop supplier of core ancillary products who can scale with the market as it expands. Kush Supply Co. will be led by Jason Vegotsky, who will serve as the division’s President, after formerly serving as Vice President of Sales.

KushCo’s CEO Nick Kovacevich said: “At the Company’s inception in 2010, we found a niche in the market, filling robust demand with our unique bottles and child-resistant packaging, which were predominantly utilized for flower – the most prevalent form of cannabis consumption at the time.
“While our bottles and packaging offering remains a large piece of our business, growing demand for supplies like concentrate packaging and vape hardware, along with new innovative custom solutions for brand building in retail, ultra-pure gas and solvents, and a more holistic approach to the cannabis supply chain resulted in a shift of what we offer to support the burgeoning cannabis market. Our name change more accurately reflects our dynamic offerings in response to the dramatic growth of the industry.”
On September 4, 2018, KushCo announced that the Company’s name changed from Kush Bottles, Inc. to KushCo Holdings, Inc. effective on September 1, 2018. Following that name change, KushCo retained the Kush Bottles brand name as a division of KushCo.
KushCo’s other business units, in addition to Kush Supply Co., consist of Kush Energy, Koleto Packaging Solutions and The Hybrid Creative. The existing operational structure will allow the Company to more easily scale and leverage shared services such as technology, human resources, finance and marketing.
