Imperial Dade, a foodservice packaging and janitorial supplies distributor, has announced the opening of its new approximately 105,000ft² warehouse in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex in Texas, US.

US-based Imperial Dade said that the new facility aligns with its wider North American expansion plan that spans from coast to coast.

Located at 5200 South Freeway in Fort Worth, Texas, the new warehouse will offer easy access to major highways and transportation hubs. It will also facilitate seamless distribution across the North Texas region.

Imperial Dade Western Region president Glenn Ziegler said: “Providing unparalleled customer service is what distinguishes Imperial Dade from our competitors, and we are excited to bring our value-added expertise and expansive product catalogue to the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

“By investing in the growth of our business and expanding our footprint with this new warehouse, we are able to better service existing and new customers in North Texas.”

The new Dallas/Fort Worth warehouse is the 12th Texas location for Imperial Dade.

The company already has sites in Brownsville, Austin, Corpus Christi, Houston, Lubbock, Odessa, San Antonio, Temple, Victoria, and Wichita Falls.

Imperial Dade chief commercial officer Charles D’Elia said: Imperial Dade strives to be the best supplier of speciality products in the marketplace, and growing our presence across Texas with brand new facilities like this one makes it possible for us to have the inventory customers need when and where they need it.

“Our customers rely on us to deliver for them wherever they do business, and investing in new locations where their business is growing demonstrates our commitment to their success.”

The company serves a range of end markets, including grocery and convenience stores, foodservice, hospitality, restaurants, healthcare, and education.

In October last year, Imperial Dade acquired Canada-based Boudreault Packaging for an undisclosed sum.

Boudreault is a janitorial sanitation and food service products distributor.
