With a net volume of 1045 litres, the new Nordic container has been designed to handle and store large quantities of fish, salt and ice.

Nordic 1000L heavy duty container can also be used in other bulk applications in the food and waste industries.

The new double-walled design with an improved PE core will help increase the Nordic 1000L’s strength and durability, in addition to ensuring consistent tare weight.

Higher shearing around the forklift hole offers improved access with less damage, and the increased shearing on the sides provides better wear resistance and easier cleaning.

RPC Sæplast has produced the container by using 100% polyethylene. The container is available in a variety of colors.

The container can be further personalized through integrating company logos, and added with tracking devices such as barcode, QR code or RFID technology. Drainage options comprise of plastic threads, stainless steel thread or no drainage.

RPC’s Nordic 1000L container is suitable to be used with lift trucks and pallet jacks on both the long and short sides.

Designed to offer safe and high stacking, the new version is fully interchangeable with the earlier version.

In July this year, RPC Sæplast expanded its range of rugged and hygienic reusable plastic containers for the food processing industry with the introduction of an additional size.

The new Sæplast 300PE is a square 800x800mm container has a height of 770mm. Its net volume of 268 litres can be increased to 298 litres by removing the handle openings.

The 300PE ensures the highest food processing standards similar to all Sæplast containers by offering key hygiene, safety and convenience benefits.

In January this year, RPC Sæplast introduced a new storage container for the shellfish industry.

The depuration and wet storage container, Sæplast 405, will complement the company’s existing Sæplast 705 version. It offers a capacity of around 400 liters.
