Mactac Industrial Tapes has announced the addition of a new high-tack general-purpose double-coated tape, IB1122-60, to its top-performing MACbond rubber tapes product line.

With a uniquely formulated, proprietary rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive, IB1122-60 is designed for general-purpose industrial mounting and bonding applications that require high initial tack to a wide variety of substrates, such as corrugated cores and boxes, fabrics and textiles and hard-to-stick-to foam substrates.

Mactac Performance Adhesives senior marketing manager Janet Page said: “IB1122-60 is a great all-in-one industrial tape to have on hand as it delivers exceptional performance for a wide number of applications.
“The product’s adhesive has unique peel and tack and really good shear strength making it an ideal and versatile double-coated tape.”
The entire tape construction consists of a 0.5-mil polyester carrier that is coated on both sides with 2.1-mils of FB899 adhesive and is protected by a two-side silicone-coated, moisture-stable 60# white Super Calendared Kraft liner.
