The packaging of is Kolibri Drinks is claimed to differ from any other beverage. The company said the eye-catching cap filled with golden nectar signifies a new era of beverages.

Beatson Clark has produced a cone-shaped 300ml white flint flask at its facility in Rotherham of South Yorkshire.

Beatson Clark marketing manager Charlotte Taylor said: “We’re finding more and more companies, particularly small businesses with big ideas, approaching us for unique bottle designs.”

According to Beatson Clark, the new flint flask is made by using 30% recycled glass on average.

The sugar is stored in the cap of the bottle instead in the liquid of the drink, which will help the consumer to customize the amount of sugar and flavour in their drink as per own taste and preference.

The in-house design team of Beatson Clark worked with Kolibri Drinks from the early concept stage to manufacture stage, to create an advanced bottle for the premium retail and restaurant market.

All the sugar was removed from the botanical drink in the bottle and stored in a cap, allowing consumers to decide on how much sweetness to be added to add to their drink.

Kolibri Drinks co-founder Kamila Sitwell said: “At a time when consumers are incredibly discerning and expect premium experiences in all aspects of branding, standard off-the-shelf bottles wouldn’t work for Kolibri Drinks.

“Beatson Clark worked with us from the very beginning, all the way through consumer and industry testing and the complex incorporation process with the patented cap which enables customisation of sweetness.

Kolibri range is comprised of different flavors, including Elderflower & Lime, Strawberry & Basil and Cardamom & Chilli. The drinks are currently available in Gaucho Restaurants, M Restaurants and Champneys Hotels.

Beatson Clark provides glass bottles and jars to the food, beverage, brewing and pharmaceutical industries.

In February this year, Beatson Clark announced that it will invest over £2m to improve the operations at its Rotherham facility.

The company’s investment enables to improve the operations of all areas ranging from glass melting, production, inspection, packaging and IT.
