UK glass packaging manufacturer Beatson Clark has developed a new 8oz square jar for The English Provender’s Very Lazy range.

By using latest sculpting software, the company has developed a new jar with the Very Lazy logo embossed on two sides.

Beatson Clark’s sculpting technology will help to provide textured effects such as wood grain and fruit peel, as well as enables to enhance scripted text and brand icons.

Sculptured embossing can be achieved on multiple levels, which is difficult with traditional embossing.

Beatson Clark is specialized in developing advanced embossing with names, slogans, logos and patterns, which will help to enhance the appeal of the brand.

The Very Lazy range of ingredients include chopped garlic, chopped ginger, smoked chopped garlic and chopped red chillies, which are preserved in white wine vinegar.

Very Lazy brand manager Emma Freeman said: “The whole process of working with Beatson Clark is easy and painless.

“We’ve worked with Beatson Clark for a long time and their design team, headed up by Dean Arey, is very experienced.”

Beatson Clark sales and marketing director Lynn Sidebottom said: “We have many years’ experience of working with the food industry and an in-house team of expert designers who have the skills and creativity to fulfil any brief.”

Beatson Clark provides glass bottles and jars to the food, beverage, brewing and pharmaceutical industries.

In February this year, Beatson Clark announced that it will invest over £2m to improve the operations at its Rotherham facility.

The company’s investment enables to improve the operations of all areas ranging from glass melting, production, inspection, packaging and IT.

The engineers have installed a new amber bottle making machine and upgraded the forehearth at the facility between Christmas and the new year.

During the last 10 years, the company invested £20m for improvements, helping to maintain quality and provide better services for the customers.
