The AD-810r6 and AD-850m4QT are the two new UHF RFID inlay products.

RFID can be used in various industries, including apparel, food and beauty, as well as pharmaceutical.

RFID-enabled solutions will help streamline asset tracking, reduce loss on inventory and enhance accuracy in supply management.

Suitable for small to medium-sized packages, the AD-810r6 product will deliver better performance on glass and plastic materials.

With an 18mm diameter footprint, the AD-810r6 can be used for tagging glass vials and other small to medium-sized medical packages.

Avery’s new UHF RFID solution can also be used for selected beauty products such as cosmetics or perfume.

When applied to liquid-filled glass or plastic bottles, the AD-810r6 holds capacity to achieve up to 1.7m read distance.

Installed with Impinj Monza R6 integrated circuit and tag chip, the AD-810r6 inlay offers 96-bit EPC memory.

Featuring AutoTune RF tuning, the AD-810r6 inlay is provided with 16mm round antenna, which is cut onto an opaque white PET carrier.

Avery Dennison has introduced new AD-850m4QT product for applications needing a smaller form factor recommended for reading tagged items in near-field.

The AD-850m4QT features an antenna with 10.3mm in diameter, which is claimed to be the smallest in the firm’s Gen2 RAIN compliant UHF inlay portfolio.

The AD-850m4QT’s circular loop design is provided with Impinj Monza 4QT integrated circuit. It holds capacity to achieve up to 1m read distance in FCC (920-928 MHz) when applied to liquid filled vials made of plastic or glass.

With the support of 512-bit user memory, the Impinj Monza 4QT chip allows users to maintain a public and private data profile for confidential data storage and consumer privacy.

The company is providing the new inlays in two formats, including dry inlay and wet inlay with optimal delivery lead times.

In August this year, Avery Dennison announced the introduction of recycled pet liners in Europe, as part of its efforts to offer sustainable solutions for the labeling industry.
