Resource Label Group has acquired US-based labeling solutions provider Paragon Label for an undisclosed sum.

Situated in Petaluma of California, Paragon Label supplies labeling solutions for the premium wine segment.

Resource Label president and CEO Bob Simko said: “We will continue to support the business that Jason has successfully built over the last twenty years for the benefit of current and new customers in this dynamic region of the country.”

Paragon offers a full range of flexographic and digital printing solutions to the premium wine customers in Sonoma and Napa Counties.

The company also supplies pressure-sensitive labels to the food, health and beauty industries, in addition to the wine industry.

Paragon has flexo presses, HPWS6600 digital press, Crusher foiling and embossing finishing press, as well as laser-cutting system in its manufacturing operations.

The firm uses advanced finishing technology, which enhances the shelf appeal of its customers’ products.

In August this year, Resource Label acquired Canadian labeling solutions provider Ingenious Packaging for an undisclosed sum.

Based in Toronto, Ingenious Packaging provides labeling solutions to the customers in the food, beverage, health and beauty, spirits, nutraceutical, distribution, tobacco and pharmaceutical industries.

The company has advanced flexographic, digital and offset printing capabilities, and ancillary finishing assets to produce a range of pressure sensitive, cut and stack and in-mold labels, as well as shrink sleeves and banding products.

Resource Label is a portfolio company of private investment firm First Atlantic Capital and TPG’s middle market and growth equity investment platform TPG Growth.

The company offers pressure sensitive label, shrink sleeve and radio-frequency identification (RFID) / near-field communication (NFC) technology for the packaging industry.

Resource Label also delivers diverse product offerings to the customers in the food, beverage, chemical, household products, personal care, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, medical device, and technology industries.
