Irish packaging solutions provider Zeus Group has announced the acquisition of Italy-based Cima Paper, a paper and board converter for the packaging sector.
Founded in 1870, Cima Paper has an annual revenue of €65m.
Through the acquisition, Zeus Group will combine Cima Paper’s scale, expertise, and resources into existing and future supply chains.
The packaging solution provider expects that the deal will increase its existing manufacturing capabilities and streamline current Italian operations. The transaction will also expand Cima’s geographical reach across Europe.

Earlier this month, Zeus acquired Northern Irish print and packaging firm James Hamilton Group for an undisclosed sum.
