France-based flexo plate making company Vianord said it will introduce new and sustainable platemaking solutions at Labelexpo 2017 to be held in September in Brussels, Belgium.
The company will introduce its Evo WAVE, which is designed to accommodate all most popular water-washable plate formats.
The company is claimed to have developed a multidisciplinary automation system that integrates all many elements from straightforward automation into a compact system, which can boost flexo plate making process.
The new system Evo WAVE comes in three sizes, Evo 2 (66 x 86 cm / 26 x 34 inch), Evo 3 (90 x 120 cm / 36 x 48 inch), Evo 4 and 120 x 160 cm / 47 x 53 inch).
Vianord says that the new machine has been designed to accommodate all water-washable plate formats and it can work as a stand-alone unit or can be placed at the helm of a fully automated modular platemaking system.
The machine, which will have a small foot print, can reduce cost, save time, while offering increased reliability and high quality. The water-washable plate processor has a lesser environmental impact.
Field tests carried out during the design and β-Test phases have showed that the new Vianord Evo WAVE processor is more reliable and more durable than conventional water-washable plate processor built more traditionally.
