tna, a food processing and packaging solutions provider, has introduced new robag 5 bagging system.

Claimed to be the industry’s first ultra-high speed VFFS system, tna robag 5 can pack 300 bags per minute from a single-tube, helping to increase the packaging capacity.

The company is exhibiting the new robag 5 bagging system at this year’s SNAXPO event in Atlanta, US.

The new system features ultrasonic back seal technology and advanced controls platform, and can be used along with the ropac 5 case packer to enhance production line efficiencies.

tna robag 5 system includes 20 weigh heads, which will help to combine different products, as well as offer fast and accurate product transfer with minimum waste.

To reduce the risk of corrosion, the new tna robag 5 is produced by using high-grade stainless steel.

It is also installed with latest controls technology, including new real-time CXE controller to reduce maintenance costs and downtime.

In addition, tna’s intelli-sys software enables to control complete line, serving as a remote management solution.

tna CEO Alf Taylor said: With its ultra-high bagging speeds, intuitively designed smart technology, faster changeovers and advanced equipment integration, the new tna robag 5 will once again re-define industry standards.

“More importantly, it will do so within a single, highly compact VFFS system. This basically means that the tna robag 5 is capable of the same, and in some cases, even higher levels of throughput, as two individual baggers, opening up a whole new world of possibilities for snack and confectionery factories that are limited in floorspace.”

tna produces a range of solutions, including materials handling, processing, cooling and freezing, coating, distribution, seasoning, weighing, packaging, inserting and labelling, metal detection, verification and end of line solutions.

In addition, the company provides a variety of production line controls integration and SCADA reporting options, as well as project management and training services.
