The separate bottle is provided for PERi-PERi sauce, and can be poured onto the dip as required, enabling users to control the strength of the houmous and dip combination.

Designed for manufacturer Zorba Delicacies, the pack solution features a pot with a specially-designed lid that can hold the bottle separately and securely, while making visible on display.

Snapp Design has developed the new design based on forms found in traditional African clay pot, a birthplace of the Nando’s brand.

The tapered silhouette has been used to make a transparent lid, and include smaller circular top surface similar to the traditional pot’s aperture.

Drizzle bottle is secured into the lid via moulded indents, enabling to prevent movement during transit and provide the branded card sleeve to the consumer.

The pot also features embossed heart, which is similar to the Barcelos cockerel and creates focal point around the bottle.

When the branded card sleeve is being removed, the two embossed Nando’s wordmarks on either side of the round lid will appear.

RPC noted that it worked on the original concept to develop the appropriate cavity shape and retaining lugs to keep the bottle in place. It has carried out a series of drop and transit tests to perfect the solution.

The PET has been used to provide required strength and flexibility, as well as deliver better quality to enhance the appeal of the product on-shelf.
