Flexible packaging company ProAmpac has acquired recycled paper packaging products manufacturer APC Paper Group for an undisclosed sum.

APC Paper has expertise in the manufacturing of 100% recycled kraft paper products.

The company supplies its products to customers in the foodservice packaging, consumer products, e-commerce, industrial and home improvement markets.

APC Paper president Tom Moore said: “By joining forces with ProAmpac, we will be able to deliver a broader product portfolio to our customers and exciting opportunities for our team.

“I look forward to working alongside ProAmpac to provide the highest-quality recycled paper products to our customers.”

APC Paper operates facilities in Claremont, New Hampshire and Norfolk, New York. Both facilities produce a wide range of paper grades.

The acquisition of APC Paper will allow ProAmpac to enhance its paper manufacturing capabilities and strengthen its market presence in the recycled and sustainable product categories.

ProAmpac founder and CEO Greg Tucker said: “APC Paper is widely respected for its commitment to innovation and 100% recycled paper products.

“Together, we will have greater capabilities in our paper-based markets as we strengthen our leading position in sustainable packaging products. I am thrilled to welcome APC Paper’s talented team to ProAmpac.”

Earlier this month, ProAmpac acquired UK-based Ultimate Packaging, which offers flexographic and digitally-printed flexible packaging solutions to its customers.

ProAmpac offers flexible and sustainable packaging and material science solutions for different consumer, healthcare, e-commerce, retail and industrial goods markets.

With more than 5,800 employees, ProAmpac manages up to 50 sites across the globe to serve over 5,000 customers in 90 countries.
