Based in McKinney, Texas, Tupps Brewery provides various beers ranging from easy drinking American wheat and smooth pale ales to imperial stout with 12.1% ABV.

At present, Tupps Brewery is providing can and keg products, and supplies its beers across North Texas, Austin, San Antonio and the state of Oklahoma.

The multi-packing G1 applicator is supporting Tupps Brewery in the multi-packing of its beer cans, enabling to offer a sustainable and environmentally friendly solution.

The G1 multi-packing applicator provides speeds of up to 100 cans-per-minute (cpm), helping to improve manufacturing process and reduce cost of materials and labour.

WaveGrip is said to be the lightest carrier on the market and weighs less than 4g for a standard six-pack ring carrier.

WaveGrip carriers are completely recyclable and meet current US Packaging regulations by being photodegradable.

Tupps Brewery founder and president Keith Lewis said: “Having an environmentally friendly carrier was a huge factor in our decision-making process. We were really happy with the sustainability of the WaveGrip solution and its environmental story is important to both us and our customers.

WaveGrip managing director Aaron McIvor said: We’re glad brewers are recognizing the environmental impact of packaging and are choosing WaveGrip for their can multi-packing due to its efficiencies and sustainability.

“The combination of both these benefits is really delivering for breweries and enabling them to maximize their production output with a reduced environmental impact.”

In October this year, WaveGrip also announce that its G1 multi-packing applicator enabled Ohio-based Royal Docks Brewing to enhance the output of its packaged beer.

Based in Canton, Royal Docks Brewing has invested in WaveGrip’s G1 multi-packing applicator to pack a full range of can sizes with minimal downtime.

In June this year, Florida-based Due South Brewing also purchased WaveGrip’s G1 multi-packing applicator to pack its range of canned craft beer.

Due South invested in the WaveGrip’s G1 multi-packing applicator to improve the multi-packing of its 16oz cans in both 4 and 6-pack configurations.
