FoldedColor Packaging has designed new packaging for E-Liquids manufacturer Vapergate’s 16 juice varieties.
The company manufactures 16 custom-branded carton variations for a lineup of vaping juices produced at Vapergate's 12,000ft² facility in Lakewood, Colorado.
Vapergate will market its products in 48 US states and 13 countries, and are available in 3,500 retail locations.
The 16 juice varieties have been bottled in 30, 60 or 120-milliliter bottles, which feature branded product labels and childproof caps.
Each bottle is surrounded by a FoldedColor-produced carton that features enhanced colors and graphics, helping to represent the juice's brand and flavor profile.
The company produces all folding cartons by using fully recyclable solid bleached sulfate (SBS) paperboard and taking the support of seven-color offset printing process and extended color gamut technology.
In addition, customers can select aqueous or UV gloss coatings for their cartons.
Vapergate’s Yosh Yoshikawa said: "When we first started in 2013, we just shipped the bottles. Over time, companies in this industry began moving toward boxes because boxes improve shelf appeal in the retail aisle. They're also easily stackable, so they utilize the real estate better.
“We placed our initial order with another company, and when we went to place a second, much larger order with them, they raised the prices on us.”
"Since the original order, we have placed several more orders for some of our top sellers, including our most popular 'Smurf' blue raspberry slushy flavor.”
FoldedColor's online workflow is said to streamline the process of designing and ordering custom folding cartons. Customers can select structural templates and secure instant pricing online.
FoldedColor's online editor will enable customers to design their carton. Customers can also design the carton offline and upload final artwork.
Later, customers can view and approve a 3D rendering of their project before submitting the order.
