In 2017, Celtic Pure invested €18m to build new warehouse and offices with a space of 115,000ft², which helped to increase production capacity from 120 million to 250 million bottles per annum.

Sidel UK and Ireland account manager Michael Quinn said: In a relatively short period of time, Celtic Pure has grown from humble beginnings to become the leading privately-owned brand of bottled water in Ireland.

The installation of Sidel PET complete line has been completed, which are currently producing PET bottles.

The line is comprised of Sidel Matrix Combi, which is complemented by mixer and CIP unit. It also included Sidel Rollquattro labeler, as well as various bottle conveyors and accumulation system from Gebo Cermex.

In 2019, the final stage of the investment is expected to be completed with the installation of new warehousing system and smart storage system.

The new warehouse features advanced management and tracking system with new bottling lines, enabling to double the production line outputs.

Celtic Pure CEO Padraig McEneaney said: “Celtic Pure prides itself on its high-quality products backed by friendly and reliable customer service and expertise.

“It is vitally important we meet the demands that strong market growth is realising, while developing added value products, to take further advantage of new business opportunities.”

Earlier this month, Sidel launched new EvoDECO labelling solutions, which are designed to meet the specific labeling needs of beverage producers.

Featuring advanced design, the new labeling solutions will help producers to deliver different stock keeping units (SKUs).

The new platform supports several labeling applications in one multi-technology machine or a single labelling application through dedicated equipment.
