The IPAK TF-330GH tray former has been upgraded to reduce lead time for machine delivery and provide customers with enhanced operational flexibility and improved uptime.
Wexxar Bel’s tray former features new adjustable tooling system, which enables agricultural packaging operations to solve issues associated with forming trays from different suppliers.
The tooling system will allow to create new tray sizes for flexible packaging operations without the need of sending samples to the factory.
With mandrel and folder adjustment, the operation will rapidly continue to produce trays when inconsistency of material happens.
The adjustable tooling help reduce tooling costs, as well as offers better flexibility for in-field set-up of new tray sizes.
With average changeover time of 10 minutes, the system also features advanced gluing system that will help decrease adhesive consumption by up to 40% compared to previous machine generations.
The IPAK TF-330GH system incorporates latest safety systems, enabling firms to address skilled labor shortage and diverse workforce issues.
Illustrative on-machine pictographs will allow operators to overcome language barriers and guide through the changeover process.
The ergonomic design of the tray former makes it easier to physically load the magazine, and is provided with new single-stage and side-load magazine option that maximizes time between loading and making operator free for other duties.
