Dunapack Packaging has been one of the pioneers in the corrugated packaging market in Romania for the last 22 years. Now the company has the possibility to produce 6 glue points boxes and high quality flexographic print.
The first package of this kind was produced in mid December 2019 at Sfântu Gheorghe plant, Dunapack Packaging România having relative production capacity in both plants – Sfântu Gheorghe and București – Bolintin Deal.
The manufacture of this box is a dream which came true when the 15 million EUR investment was finalized. The investment has equipped the plant with two new machines such as Bobst Expercut & Bobst Masterfold, has replaced the Wet End part of the Corrugator by having a complete BHS corrugator of latest technology in Romania yielding high quality paper boards , has automated the production lines and has enlarged the storage space.

Three process colours (cyan, magenta, yellow) and two spot colours (Pantone) were used for obtaining the 5 colours flexographic print made at 70LPI. The print was made on the new 5c Bobst ExpertLine machine and the 6 points glue of the automated box was made on Bobst MasterFold.
This work is the first step Sfântu Gheorghe plant makes on the leading way to a developing market – the one of High Print packages, market which now is successfully approached by Dunapack Packaging Romania, too.
