Part of the new lightline machine series, the Flowpacker has been developed for packaging of heat-sensitive products such as chocolate.

Schubert is providing lightline machine series, including three packaging machines, to be used for standard packaging tasks.

The lightline Flowpacker holds capacity to process mixed packages with two different and heat-sensitive products.

The machine will pack biscuit with white chocolate and one with brown chocolate together in a flow-wrap bag. It can process 250 products or 125 flowpacks per minute.

Flowpacker is also provided with a 3D image processing system that allows to only enter the perfect products into the infeed chain.

With the lightline Flowpacker, the company is providing preconfigured packaging machine that is composed of Flowmodul flow-wrapping component and picker line. It will help in packaging of unpacked or trayed products into flowpacks in a product-friendly manner.

The Flowmodul can be used with all common hot and cold sealing films, and the robotic technology will enable to stack extremely fragile crackers or biscuit in any conceivable variant and packaged into flowpacks.

The new patented heat sealing technology offers various benefits, including very low heat development and constant sealing time at variable chain speed.

Schubert’s component allows controlling the adjustment range of a heat-sealing film between 5m and 60m without any loss of quality for the film or the product. The technology can also be used for hermetically sealed packages.

The machine series is also comprised of lightline Cartonpacker for packaging products into cartons, and the lightline Pickerline for pick and place applications.

The new lightline Flowpacker with heat sealing technology will be showcased at the ProSweets 2019 event Cologne, Germany.

Schubert Packaging Systems will also showcase its comprehensive portfolio of engineering solutions and services at the event.
