Label and packaging solutions provider Resource Label Group (RLG) has announced the acquisition of US-based TQL Packaging Solutions (TQL) for an undisclosed sum.

The acquisition is said to expand the flexible packaging capabilities of Resource Label Group. The deal represents the 29th acquisition for the US-based company.

Founded in 1995 and based in Dallas, Texas, TQL is a prime label and flexible packaging firm that provides both digital and flexographic printing.

The firm offers a wide selection of custom packaging solutions like pouches, fin seal packaging, pressure sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, roll-fed wrap, tamper evident, and extended content labels for a range of industries.

TQL started as a flexographic label provider and has now expanded its capabilities in flexible packaging and digital printing.

TQL Packaging Solutions founder Scott Smith said: “Since inception, TQL has always been committed to providing industry-leading technology, service and quality to our customers.

“Our customers come first and by joining the RLG family our team significantly strengthens our capabilities and ability to exceed our customers’ expectations.”

RLG is engaged in the production of pressure-sensitive labels, flexible packaging, shrink sleeves and RFID/NFC technology, sustainable product solutions, scent activation technology, pharmaceutical packaging and fulfilment services.

The company serves the beverage, food, chemical, household products, personal care, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, medical device, and technology sectors. It has 28 locations across the US and Canada,
