Packaging and paper firm Mondi has opened three new customer engagement centres, dubbed ThinkBoxes, for its corrugated packaging customers in Europe.

With insightful events, training courses and individual workshops in physical, digital or hybrid formats, the new centres will facilitate co-creation of enhanced sustainable packaging designs.

The new ThinkBox sites are opened in České Budějovice of Czech Republic, Tire of Turkey and Ansbach of Germany.

With physical and digital spaces, the new centres will help customers in different industries in any phase of their research for enhanced corrugated packaging.

Mondi’s new centre in Czech Republic features 500m² of space for engagement and shared experiences, while German centre offers engagement and shared experiences.

In addition, the company’s centre in Turkey provides new ideas for the changing retail environment and fresh produce packaging.

Mondi Corrugated Solutions COO Armand Schoonbrood said: “Our customers face a fast-changing environment driven by legislation, rapid growth or have clear targets in mind to secure competitiveness. They seek clarity and certainty, often while the clock is ticking.

“We built the ThinkBox to provide space and professional guidance, addressing every aspect of modern packaging challenges. We offer our customers this unique ThinkBox experience to help them fulfil their next packaging objective or gain understanding of the options that support their vision.”

The new centre features different settings, including Think Co-creation for individual workshops to address a specific packaging issue and Think Skills for different training courses and skill transfer events.

Mondi’s new engagement centre also includes Think Inspiration setting for interactive webinars and insight events and Think Verification setting for performance tests of packaging solutions.

According to the company, the processes are designed to deliver a stable set of options within short time and provide tangible solutions.

The facilities offer the latest testing equipment for instant proof of concept, in addition to helping eliminate possible risks in the product lifecycle during the design process.
