Co-located exhibitions ICE USA and InPrint USA announce the support of the Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) as an association partner for the upcoming exhibitions, which are due to take place from April 9-11, 2019, at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville.

Mack Brooks Exhibitions EVP Melissa Magestro said: “The flexible packaging industry is a key market for both ICE and InPrint exhibitors and our partnership with FPA helps us create a one-stop shop for packaging professionals looking for the latest in both converting and digital print technologies.”

Packaging is a large industry with multiple segments including folding cartons, corrugated, labels, and direct-to-shape, and makes up a large part of the audience at the co-located shows. According to a 2017 Market Report from I.T. Strategies, flexible packaging was found most appealing application with the use of digital inkjet technology at 50%.

The partnership with FPA will allow attendees of both shows to cross-educate themselves on the latest in the converting industry as well as print technology for flexible packaging. The Flexible Packaging Pavilion on the show floor will feature FPA members and be a key focus area for attendees looking for flexible packaging innovations and solutions.

FPA has served as the voice of the flexible packaging industry since 1950 by connecting, advancing, and leading the flexible packaging industry. Members are manufacturers of flexible packaging sold to users or distributors for packaging purposes and material or equipment suppliers to the industry.

ICE USA is the premier exhibition in the Americas for the converting of paper, film, foil, nonwovens and other flexible, web-based materials. As a hands-on, equipment heavy exhibition that focuses on delivering specific products, people and technological developments, converting professionals at ever level from every segment attend and find importance in ICE USA.
