Swiss manufacturer of cutting systems Zünd has introduced Version 3.0 of its Zünd Cut Center (ZCC) software suite.

The new version of the ZCC software suite is designed to offer additional and enhanced registration methods for even better productivity, as well as browser-based dashboard to enable remote access for customers to all performance and production data.

Zünd said that the latest version of Zund Cut Center features new functionalities as well as a variety of intelligent workflow options.

The refined algorithms of the ZCC Version 3.0 will allow capturing required register marks essential for accurately determining position, skew and distortion.

Additionally, the ZCC Version 3.0’s new browser-based function allows operators to visualize the Zünd cutters’ performance and productivity data.

The Dashboard is also designed to provide round-the-clock remote access for management and production staff to all relevant production data.

Zünd said: “Organization and clarity are the be-all and end-all of smart production planning. That is exactly what Zünd's proven Cut Queue offers, with a tool palette that facilitates production planning and job management.”

The Cut Queue is designed to estimate production times as well as facilitate setup by visualizing job contours. It also allows handling of many settings, such as overcut compensation and offsets for objects and cut paths, through hot folders or manually.

Additionally, the Cut Editor provides functions including crease-counter generation for high-quality creasing as well as nesting features for maximum material yield.

It also provides a variety of routing features to deliver superior routing quality, productivity and profitability, Zünd noted.
