Shurtape Technologies, a provider of pressure-sensitive tapes, has expanded its line of printed hot melt packaging tapes with new and improved messages.

Shurtape said the new additions to its existing line of stock prints include HP 240 Pull Edge, HP 240 Fragile, HP 242 Keep Refrigerated and HP 242 Keep Frozen.
HP 240 Pull Edge has been to open without using knife. This tape lets receivers know that it can be removed by hand when used with a ShurSEAL tape dispenser equipped with Folded-Edge technology, enabling to prevent injury or product damage due to knife.
HP 240 Fragile features an updated print, including an image of a pair of hands holding a carton to indicate the need to handle gently.
HP 242 Keep Refrigerated, which will help avoid freezing, has been formulated for use in cold temperature case sealing environments.
HP 242 Keep Frozen has been developed for use in extremely cold sealing and storage environments and features a snowflake design to clearly differentiate it.
The existing products in the portfolio include HP 240 Security Tape that indicates and draws attention to a tamper-evident seal, and HP 240 Stop is used as a safety precaution in the event of a pilfered or damaged carton.
