The M1 on demand packaging system is a responsive box-making machine and technology solution, which was developed based on the firm’s global modular architecture platform.

By using PackNet production and optimization software, the new system delivers advanced on demand packaging functionality for packaging environments, which require high variability in box types and sizes.

With the new system, the businesses engaged in the shipment of goods where box types and sizes frequently change can enhance the capabilities of their packaging environments.

The design of the M1 system enables to maximize the production of right-sized and custom corrugated boxes.

The new system is provided with multi-bay z-Fold infeed system to increase productivity and maximize material use. It will also enable the concurrent use of four to eight corrugated bales across a two-track system

Packsize has provided an advanced functionality to the system for printing high-resolution barcodes, logos and other company data on the box during production.

The system’s patented multi-axis tooling configuration uses both cutting and creasing capabilities and reduces back feeding to support faster box production cycle times.

Packsize’s global modular architecture platform allows providing industry 4.0 capabilities, enabling to enhance durability and machine reliability.

PackNet software allows packaging operators to prioritize box production, create workflows, manage multiple machines, integrate with existing ERP and WMS systems, as well as produce advanced on-demand analytics through newly improved user interface.

According to the company, the modular design of the M1 system meets global trends for smart manufacturing to offer better performance and efficiency for all types of manufacturing businesses.

Based in Salt Lake City of Utah, Packsize develops, manufactures, licenses, supports and markets on demand packaging software, systems and solutions.

In April this year, Packsize launched an on demand packaging robotic system, PackBot.

The industrial service robotic automation will manufacture custom corrugated cartons to increase output and minimize manual labor dependencies.
