Lincoln International has served as the exclusive investment banking representative for Sentinel Capital Partners in the divestment of high precision rotary cutting tool solutions provider, Roto-Die Company (RotoMetrics).

Based in St. Louis of Missouri, RotoMetrics offers made-to-order precision rotary cutting tooling solutions for web converting and printing applications.

The firm’s products allows converters and OEMs to manufacture a range of tags, labels, fabricated parts and packaging items used in the consumer goods, healthcare, electrical, automotive and industrial markets.

RotoMetrics product portfolio includes flexible dies, solid dies, magnetic cylinders and anvils.

Suitable for film or paper applications, the DigiNow flexible die has been developed to be used with semi-rotary offline die cutters.

These die cutters are installed with an adjustable anvil to achieve perfect die strike and performance.

AccuPrime flexible die can be used to convert a range of both paper and synthetic materials, while AccuStar Life is a flexible die that offers extended life for abrasive materials.

The firm also produces folding carton dies that serves as an alternative to solid dies, and rotary pressure cutting dies that serves an alternative to multiple crush cut methods.

RotoMetrics operates manufacturing and repair service facilities in eight countries, including the Australia, Brazil, China, Canada, Germany, Thailand, the UK and the US.

With more than 15 sales offices across five continents, the company serves more than 5,500 customers and OEMs.

RotoMetrics CEO Bob Spiller said: “We have accomplished a number of key initiatives together, including global expansion, repositioning our European operations, and driving organic and acquisition growth.

“Sentinel’s support and long-term perspective helped us immensely and contributed meaningfully to successfully positioning RotoMetrics for long-term, sustainable growth.”
