EyeC said it will showcase its latest inspection technology for labels and flexible packaging at Labelexpo Europe 2017, to be held between 25 and 28 September 2017 in Brussels, Belgium.

At Labelexpo Europe, the company will showcase its complete range of inspection systems, which are claimed to ensure high print quality throughout the entire production process.

EyeC will be demonstrating its ProofRunner Label in action. The system is claimed to offer 100% print inspection, even at fastest presses or rewinders on the market, while running at speeds in excess of 600m per minute (2000 fpm) without giving up on resolution.

At the expo, the company will also showcase the EyeC Quality link, which offers inspection results from press need to be evaluated at a separate location and can be later used on the rewinder to take out all defective labels.

With EyeC’s Quality Link at hand, operators can react swiftly to avoid expensive material waste, while rewinders can run more efficiently and avoid unnecessary stops.

EyeC shall showcase its Workflow Integration, which can automate PDF proofing in the pre-press stages process by incorporating EyeC’s pre-press inspection software, the EyeC Proofiler Graphic, into workflow systems such as Esko’s Automation Engine.

The workflow system can activate inspection procedures automatically and the EyeC Proofiler Graphic can retrieve job data, files and inspection parameters from the workflow system and can report inspection results back to the workflow system.

Besides these products, EyeC will also showcase its off-line and artwork inspection systems. The company claims that in 30 seconds the Proofiler 400 DT can perform comprehensive sample test of a combo job in DIN A3 format against several PDF files. The EyeC Proofiler Content provides easy and secure artwork revision control.

EyeC CEO Ansgar Kaupp said: “We have been providing inspection systems for the label industry for 15 years now. Today, we are the only supplier on the market to ensure the product quality throughout the entire production process.

“At this year’s Labelexpo Europe, we can present even faster inspection systems that support the most modern, integrated production processes to our customers.”
