London based design agency Ziggurat Brands has redesigned the packaging of Tetley Tea. This new packaging is expected to offer the brand a more consistent look across the global markets. This new packaged products will be released in september in UK, US, Australia and India.

Zigguart managing director Kellie Chapple said that there was a need to unify the brand identity and bring the different varieties of Tetley teas and infusions together with a cohesive brand architecture and packaging redesign.

“It has been an enormous project, for which Ziggurat is well placed given our experience with global brands such as Pepsi Raw and Gatorade,” Chapple added.

The alphabet ‘y’ in Tetley Tea has been replaced with a image of a tea leaf. A swirling graphic illustration on the pack presents the tea variant in terms of redbush, green, fruit and herbal, speciality and traditional Tetley black teas, as reported by PackagingNews. Around 250 packs came under scrutiny and the product started back in 2008.
