Combi Packaging Systems has announced the addition of two new tray erectors to their offering of end-of-line packaging equipment.

Combi president and CEO John Fisher said that with the sustainable trend toward using less corrugate, they recognise the need to supply the agriculture, food processing and distribution industries with an affordable alternative to case erecting.

“Our new line of moderate and high speed tray erectors will provide our customers with square and securely glued trays by a very compact system. We build affordable packaging equipment specifically for customers’ products providing them maximum efficiency, which favorably impacts their bottom line,” Fisher concluded.

Combi’s new 30 tpm HTF Horizontal Tray Former will debut in October at the upcoming 2010 PackExpo International show in Chicago.

Combi’s packaging equipment is known for its affordable performance in case erecting, case sealing, hand pack stations, horizontal loading, drop packing, and servo pick-and-place packing applications.
