Said to be first of its second-generation Kiaro! digital inkjet color label printers, the Kiaro! QL-120 integrates 1200 dpi resolution with fastest print speeds to offer for exceptional customer experience.

The features allow business owners to produce professional-quality color labels in-house and on- demand, at a fraction of the cost and time of outsourcing, the firm said.

Designed to deliver enhanced print quality, performance and reliability, the new printer has printing speed of 305 mm/sec and a new high-speed auto-cutter which is now standard.

Built on AstroNova’s Kiaro! digital color label printing technology, the new QL-120 also allows users to print narrow widths as small as 0.5” (12.7 mm).

AstroNova president and CEO Greg Woods said: “As the latest innovation in our ‘total solution’ product offerings, the QL-120 exemplifies the long history of QuickLabel as a customer-centric business focused on helping companies build great brands.

“The QL-120 allows new and existing customers to print vivid, compelling labels for their branded products cost effectively, when they need them.”

In addition to providing seamless networking capabilities and extended printhead life, the printer ensures even the smallest font sizes and images look crisp at a resolution of 1200 dpi, and with enhanced color management capabilities.

AstroNova said in a statement: “Because the printed label is more resistant to water, oil, and solvents, the QL-120 is ideal for a broad range of applications from food and beverage, to chemicals, cosmetics, medical and industrial labeling.”

The durable ink formulation of the QL-120 also allows operators to print on a wider variety of materials.

The printer allows production of professional-quality color labels at a fraction of the cost and time of outsourcing, the firm noted.

AstroNova designs, manufactures, distributes and services a broad range of products that acquire, store, analyze and present data in multiple formats.
