All4Labels Global Packaging Group has agreed to acquire Romprix Exim, a Romania-based manufacturer of decorative self-adhesive labels, for an undisclosed price.

According to the German packaging solutions provider, Romprix Exim has the largest capacity for industrial digital printing in Romania.

Romprix, which has been operating for 28 years, is engaged in converting self-adhesive materials in Romania.

It is said to have over 10 years of experience in the digital printing environment and is claimed to be the first digital printing house to use the HP INDIGO technology for labels and flexible packaging in Romania.

All4Labels CEO Adrian Tippenhauer said: “With this transaction, we will become the leading manufacturer of self-adhesive labels in Romania. Romprix with its strong focus on the local Romanian market complements our current business in Romania perfectly.

“With both our sites All4Labels will now be able to offer a wider range of first-class and competitive packaging solutions to an even broader range of customers both locally and on an international level.

“Both production sites are close to Bucharest (Ploiesti and Pantelimon) and the on-site teams together will make more than 320 professionals who will continue to meet all our customers’ needs.”

All4Labels said that Cristian Dobrotă, who is the CEO, founder, as well as majority-shareholder in Romprix will continue managing the business. Besides, Dobrotă is expected to contribute to help All4Labels expedite its growth in the Eastern European region.

Dobrotă said: “Romprix has been looking for an international partner to support our development not only in Romania, but also on an international level, and thus enabling us to grow jointly with our customers both locally and beyond the regional market – with All4Labels we have the perfect match and partner to do so.

“What we highly appreciate about All4Labels is their mindset, culture, and strategy to work as one global team, to challenge the status quo in the packaging industry.”
