Dutch company Ten Cate Plasticum has answered calls for increased consumer convenience and protection with a new standard safety cap for tin plate cans.
The safety cap features a tamper evident tear strip that is removed before use, leaving a reusable cover. The patented safety cap works on a force deforming principle. A key benefit to this system is that it can be processed on most high speed capping lines for snap caps.
The first application is with the dairy industry. Other food-related industries such as pet food are also relevant.
