The absolute dimensional accuracy of the lids and labels, high-precision print-to-die registration and an extremely high feed accuracy are all aspects we take for granted. The web tension is fully automatically monitored and regulated. BERHALTER die-cutting systems are already deployed successfully the world over in the production of flat and deep-drawn aluminum lids, packaging lids made of polyester, paper labels or in-mould labels.

BERHALTER embossing units are directly integrated into BERHALTER die-cutting machines. The embossed surface texture allows air to pass between the individual punched lids, such that they do not stick together during automatic unstacking and separating into singles on the filling machine (vacuum effect).
