Wrapid Packaging Systems used PPMA for the UK debut of the CRC case sealer from Italian manufacturers Mondo & Scaglione. Said to be ideal for cylindrical containers, such as bottles, jars and cans, the machine erects, seals and glues the card into a rigid carton around the products.
Also receiving its official launch was the SmiPack FP600 automatic L-sealer which is intended for shrink wrapping a range of products from confectionary to cutlery at speeds up to 30 units/min. The sealing temperature can be adjusted and sealing is by continuous cycle with the capability of packing single or multipacks.
