Contract packer and specialist in flow, shrink and polypropylene wrapping Wrapid Contract Services has completed a £140,000 investment at its Bradford plant, installing two controlled “cleanrooms” to meet the promotional, competition and premium demands of blue chip customers in the food and drink and pharma sectors.
The 5,000 sq ft cleanrooms, awarded the British Retail Consortium/Institute of Packaging (BRC/IOP) accreditation grade B certification, have been specifically built to provide customers with a clean environment that encompasses all aspects of food packaging legislation. The plant has also purchased two Rose Forgrove Merlin flowwrappers.
