In the USA, VortX United recently provided its portable mixing system to a corrugated plant on an emergency basis. The plant’s existing adhesive mixing system was damaged and rendered inoperable, which prevented the corrugator from operating.
VortX delivered the portable, high shear mixer within a day of receiving the call and assisted in restarting the corrugator. This fully assembled, semi automatic mixer is mounted on its own trailer and is capable of maintaining full plant production for extended periods.
The portable unit provides customers with a temporary machine to make adhesive while work is being performed on an existing starch machine, or during start-up of new equipment. It is available to maintain plant production during the installation of new mixing systems or other situations, including emergency service.
