The shortlist for UK Plastics Industry Awards has picked packaging companies and their suppliers among a stellar crop hoping to share top honours for excellence in materials usage, product design, manufacturing, training and environmental performance.
Selected entries include Nampak Plastics (Best Training and Development Programme of the Year); Netstal and Closures (Supplier Partnership – Prime Machinery); Summit Systems and Amcor Flexibles (Supplier Partnership: Ancillary Machinery); Linpac Packaging Plastic Recycling Division and MGB Plastics (Supplier Partnership: Polymer Producer); Matrix Plastics and Massmould (Supplier Partnership: masterbatch, compound, additive).
The awards ceremony takes place on 1 October 2010 at the London Hilton Hotel, Park Lane.
