TÜV Product Service, the UK subsidiary of the TÜV Süd group, has acquired the Laidler group of companies, the UK’s machinery safety compliance organisation.
The Laidler group has sales of £2.6 million and offices in Cleveland and Yorkshire. Its principal role is to help businesses comply with the EU Machinery Directive and associated health and safety legislation.
The move ‘will establish a much stronger machinery safety business for TÜV Süd in the UK’, says Jean-Louis Evans, Managing Director of TÜV Product Service.
