Anew concept in energy drinks – Lucozade Sport Carbo Gel – is being packed in a 45g tear top flexible tube from Cheshire based Unette European Operations.
GlaxoSmithKline chose the Unit-of-Use pack for its ease of opening and convenience for refuelling on the go. The foil laminate pack with built-in dispensing nozzle is flexo-printed in six colours.
The tube has already made its mark in the single use samples market in the personal care and pharmaceutical sectors. Tube sizes range from 0.5-60cc and can be made with different tip designs.
