Portola has responded to the beverage industry’s demand for 38mm caps with a hat trick of designs –bore seal, wadding and oxygen scavenger variants.
The bore seal cap is suitable for use on PET bottles, and the wadded version compatible with HDPE packs.
By creating a barrier to keep oxygen out, the integral scavenger significantly increases the shelf life of drinks. It also allows the cap to be used for aseptic filling and eliminates the need for additional venting.
Suitable for use with a variety of non-carbonated beverages, including dairy products, fruit juices and iced teas, all three 38mm variants feature 3-lead threads and have a secure patented J-Band tamper evident cap seal.
