Packaging solutions provider TricorBraun has acquired US-based healthcare packaging firm Package All for an undisclosed sum.

Based in Bayport of New York, Package All supplies its products to the over-the-counter (OTC) generic pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries.

The company also provides packaging solutions to various other industries such as personal care and beauty, sports and fitness, food and beverage, and household and industrial.

Package All manufactures products such as bottles, cartons and dividers, closures, desiccants, measuring devices and pharmaceutical coil.

With around 350,000ft² of storage space, Package All manages distribution centers on the East and West Coasts.

The company’s warehouses are installed with live inventory systems (WMS) and computerized electronic wire guidance systems for narrow aisle picking and scan guns.

TricorBraun executive chairman Keith Strope said: "We are excited about the opportunities this acquisition creates to provide customers of both companies with expanded services."

TricorBraun president and CEO Court Carruthers said: "Everything will be business as usual, with new momentum. We want to leverage Package All's business model and grow with it. Package All's seven locations and more than 350,000 square feet of warehouse space will expand TricorBraun's overall offering."

In November 2017, TricorBraun acquired Canadian flexible packaging manufacturer Taipak Enterprises for an undisclosed price.

Headquartered in Richmond, British Columbia, Taipak provides a complete line up of standard and custom flexible packaging solutions, including boxes, bags and pouches.

Its solutions can be used in several applications such as confectionary and dry foods, processed and frozen food, seafood and meat products, health and wellness, retort food, pet products, and non-food products.

TricorBraun provides different packaging solutions, including glass and plastic containers, closures, dispensers and tubes.
