Russian dairy product, juice and bottled water producer Wimm-Bill-Dann has invested in the country’s first fully integrated aseptic filling line, for its well-established J7 juices brand.
The turnkey line was supplied by Siprotech, a joint venture between Sipa and Procomac. Initially, the equipment will be used for J7 apple juices, with other juices set to follow.
The PET bottles are being capped using Bericap’s Double Seal technology, with a 2-start thread 38mm closure said to guarantee trouble-free capping and a tight seal for the premium juices. The HDPE SK3 8/16 S DS closure ensures enhanced tightness, and has a slitted drop band for tamper evidence.
