A new packaging concept that provides a fresh image, with a plastic bottle top, wide pouring hole and screw cap has been launched by Tetra Pak.
Carton Bottle, the latest Tetra Top family product, is available in 500ml – 1-litre volumes for milk and juice-based products and bridges the gap between cartons and plastic bottles.
It is made from a carton material sleeve with an injection moulded plastic top and 50% of the materials are renewable. All visible surfaces can be flexo printed to photographic quality.
The Carton Bottle has already been market tested in co-operation with Arla Foods in Sweden and filled with the well-established fruit yoghurt Yoggi, originally sold in gable top packages.
