Skanem Industries, a private company with operations in the print and packaging industries in Scandinavia, has bid to acquire the SE Labels Group.
One of Europe’s largest label printers, SE was demerged earlier this year from its Norwegian food based conglomerate parent, Rieber & Son. It has production units in the UK, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Germany.
Managing director Ken Forster commented: “This is a positive move which will create a stable base from which SE Labels can grow and further enhance its strategic position in labelling”.
