Polythene specialist Palagan in Dunstable, a producer of blown film for over 30 years, has launched a free survey for packaging film users designed to help them maximise their film use against a backdrop of fluctuating raw material prices.
The new facility assesses the grade and gauge required for a given application. Palagan md Graham Taylor (pictured) says that instead of buying a heavier standard material, companies can often buy a lighter gauge, better quality and stronger material, giving them more film for the same money.
