Sun Chemical is increasing its prices in Europe by from four to 12 per cent, depending on the product. The rises, effective from November 1, will cover the company’s inks, coatings, fountain solutions and other printing consumables. The price hike is blamed on continued, rapid increases in raw material prices, shortages of key materials and cost increases due to new EU regulations affecting the chemical industry, such as REACH and ATEX.
