Avery Dennison Printer Systems says its new RFID Starter Kit is the answer for businesses worried about lost productivity due to RFID labelling start-up tasks such as needs assessment, equipment installation and operator training.

The kit features the 64-05 RFID label printer, which incorporates a printhead that ‘jumps’ over the ‘bumps’ made by embedded RFID chips, reducing the likelihood of label waste, and a ‘detect-and-deflect’ facility that identifies labels with faulty chips. It also includes 500 Class 1 RFID carton and/or pallet labels, an optional interrogator/reader with two antennae, demonstration software, on-site set-up assistance, training, a year’s technical support, and Avery Dennison’s Label Management System (LMS) software.
