Reifenhäuser is now a preferred supplier of extrusion equipment to be integrated in Rotomec extrusion coating and laminating lines.
Michael Beckhoff, Reifenhäuser’s cast/coating business unit manager, explains: “We identified in this business the possibility of a most significant potential growth. The agreement with Rotomec will enable us to establish a stronger presence in this market segment.” Erik Bothorel, head of Rotomec’s coating and laminating product line, adds: “By establishing a close collaboration with Reifenhäuser, we can now consolidate Rotomec’s position in this sector by capitalizing on the synergies which can be further exploited in technical development”.
A complete extrusion coating and laminating line will be installed and commissioned by the end of 2007 in Reifenhäuser’s new technology centre in Troisdorf. Featuring the most advanced components and systems from both companies, it will be available for trial runs by customers.
